ACC Championship Details
- ACC Championship action gets underway with the opening game Nov. 4 at 10 a.m.
- All seven games of the ACC Championship will be televised live on ACC Network with Leah Secondo and Suzanne Bush calling the action.

The Opening Pass-Back
- Duke opens postseason play Tuesday as the No. 4 seed in the 2025 ACC Championship. The Blue Devils take on No. 5 seed California in the quarterfinal round.
- Duke heads into the week ranked eighth in the NFHCA top 20 poll and eighth in the latest edition of the RPI. North Carolina tops both the NFHCA poll and RPI. California is 20th in the RPI, edging Syracuse out for the fifth seed thanks to its regular season win over the Orange.
- Senior Alaina McVeigh and sophomore Julia Boehringer lead the offensive charge with 28 and 19 points, respectively. McVeigh and Boehringer have 10 and seven goals, respectively. Both are dangerous options on penalty corners as well as in open play.
- The Blue Devils have seven shutouts this season and allowed just eight goals in ACC play. Duke has given up multiple goals in a game three times this season - Liberty (4), Wake Forest (3) and North Carolina (2).

Recapping The Regular Season
- Duke finished the regular season 11-6 overall with all six losses coming against current top 10 teams – No. 1 North Carolina (1-2, OT), No. 2 Northwestern (0-1), No. 3 Virginia (0-1, 2OT), No. 6 Wake Forest (1-3), No. 9 Syracuse (0-1), No. 7 Liberty (3-4). The Blue Devils finished 4-4 in conference action.
- Defensively, Duke has been outstanding, allowing just 16 goals all season. The Blue Devils are tied for seventh nationally with seven clean sheets, while their 0.93 goals against average is seventh.
- Alaina McVeigh paces the offense with 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points. Right behind her is sophomore Julia Boehringer, who is having a breakout season, with seven goals and five assists for 19 points. She is highly effective on penalty corners. Sophomore Madison Beach has been excellent on set pieces and in open play with a team-best nine assists.
Blue Devils vs Bears
- Duke and Cal are meeting for the 11th time overall and for the first time in ACC Championship play. The Blue Devils are 10-0 against the Bears, outscoring Cal 24-5 in that span.
- Duke is 2-0 against California as ACC foes, winning 4-0 in the inaugural ACC matchup and 2-0 this season.
Next Game
- A win pushes Duke into the ACC Championship semifinals to face the winner between North Carolina and Louisville, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m.
