DURHAM, N.C. β The fourth-ranked Duke field hockey team hosts No. 5 Louisville Saturday in a pivotal ACC matchup at 1:30 p.m. on the ACCN, then ends the weekend Sunday afternoon against non-conference opponent Richmond at 2 p.m. on ACCNX.
The 11-4 (1-3) Blue Devils enter Saturday in fifth place in the ACC standings, while 13-3 (2-2) Louisville sits right above them in fourth. Richmond (8-7)

The matchup against the fifth-ranked Cardinals is Duke's 13th ranked opponent of the season and eighth in its last nine games. The contest against Richmond will be Duke's first Atlantic 10 opponent of the season.

With just two ACC games left on the Blue Devil's slate, No. 4 Duke hosts No. 5 Louisville in a marquee conference battle for a chance to move up in the ACC standings. Louisville last played ACC competition on Oct. 11 against Virginia, a 2-1 loss at home. Duke is 1-1 in its last two conference games, including a 4-0 win at home against Wake Forest on Oct. 11 and a 3-2 OT loss at Virginia on Oct. 18.

THE FINAL HOMESTAND
The No. 4 Blue Devils split last weekend's contests, dropping a 3-2 overtime decision against No. 7 Virginia and shutting out James Madison, 2-0. The Blue Devils will look to make the most of their final two regular season home games this weekend against No. 5 Louisville and Richmond.
Duke has won six or more home games since 2016 and needs one more to keep that streak alive as its holds a 5-2 record in the Bull City this year. The Blue Devils are 53-26 against ranked foes since 2015. Under the direction of head coach
Pam Bustin, Duke is 79-54 when facing ranked teams.
COMMANDER CROUSE
Sophomore
Leah Crouse has been crucial down the stretch for the Blue Devils offensively, recording five goals, nine shots on goal and three game-winners in her last five games. Crouse scored her ninth goal of the season just one minute into the James Madison contest Sunday, proving to be her fifth game-winning goal of the year.
The Virginia Beach, Va., native is seventh in the ACC in points (22), sixth in points per game (1.57) and sixth in shots per game (2.57). Crouse registered her first multiple-goal game of her career against Princeton on Oct. 6.
SHUT OUT DEFENSE
The 2-0 defeat of James Madison was Duke's seventh shutout of the season. Last season, Duke totaled eight shutouts on the year, the first time the Blue Devils registered eight shutouts in a single-season since 2003. Two shutouts this weekend will total nine, which would be the first time a Duke team has registered nine in a single-season since 1991. The Blue Devils' 0.47 shutouts per game ranks third in the nation.

Duke is 10-1 in matchups against non-conference teams. The Blue Devils recently defeated James Madison of the CAA, 2-0. The meeting against Richmond will be the first Atlantic 10 opponent for Duke since it defeated Saint Joseph's on Sept. 16, 2018.
