DURHAM, N.C. – Junior
Erin Marsh of the Duke track & field team was named the Duke Student-Athlete of the Week following a gold-medal performance in the pentathlon at the ACC Indoor Championships in South Bend, Ind.
Marsh took first place in three of her five events on the opening night of ACCs. She set a school record in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.29 seconds, before besting the field in the high jump (1.70 meters) and long jump (5.96 meters). She tied a personal-best mark of 11.71 meters (38-5.0 feet) in the shot put to place second, and closed out the evening with a sixth-place time of 2:22.65 in the 800 meters.
The Buford, Ga., native finished with 4,186 total points, which ranks second all-time at Duke in the pentathlon as well as seventh in the nation this indoor season.

Matt Wisner (men's 800 meters) will travel to Albuquerque, N.M., for the NCAA Indoor Championships March 13-14.
