DURHAM, N.C. – Duke track and field capped the outdoor regular season in style as the Blue Devils posted seven event wins, eight top-five program marks and 18 podium finishes Sunday at the Duke Twilight.
TOP PERFORMANCES:
	- Comprised of Joseph Taylor, Callum Robinson, Jeremiah Lauzon and TJ Clayton, the Duke men's 4x100m relay put on a commanding performance Sunday afternoon. The Blue Devil quartet sprinted their way to the top of the program charts, clocking a season best of 39.68 to unseat the previous mark set by the Blue Devils earlier this year.
- Jack Stanley took part in the men's 1,500m run and delivered the fastest race of his collegiate career while slotting himself onto the top of the program charts. The graduate student shaved almost three seconds off his previous time and finished with a PR of 3:38.08, shattering Bob Wheeler's mark (3:39.0) that stood since 1972.
- Graduate student Birgen Nelson notched a personal best in the women's 100m hurdles on the way to grabbing the win and carving out her spot on the Blue Devil charts. Nelson crossed the finish line in 13.15 seconds – good for No. 3 in Duke lore.
- Freshman Aden Bandukwala also registered a PR to claim the top spot in the men's 800m race. The rookie turned in a time of 1:47.53 to pick up his second event win of the outdoor campaign while slotting himself No. 3 all-time on the program charts.
- Duke saw a quartet of wins come via its field events – the first two coming via the men's hammer throw and women's pole vault, respectively, courtesy of sophomore Christian Toro and sophomore Gemma Tutton.
- Toro made his fourth throw his best of the competition, notching a mark of 68.87m (225-11 feet) to capture the victory. Tutton turned in a vault of 4.40m (14-5.25 feet) to slot herself atop the field, clearing the first four bars on her initial jump.
- Duke pushed its Sunday win total to seven after sophomore Hattie Reynolds claimed the top spot in the women's 3,000m steeplechase, while the Blue Devils finished off the pole vault sweep following the efforts of graduate student Simen Guttormsen.
- Reynolds turned in a strong individual performance as she trimmed nearly eight seconds off her previous mark and finished with a time of 10:14.94. In his outdoor debut, Guttormsen passed on the first seven heights before clearing the eighth on his initial vault, locking down the first-place finish on a clearance of 5.21m (17-1 feet).
- The Blue Devils also posted top-five program marks in both the men's and women's 100m and 200m events. Junior Mia Edim moved into No. 4 all-time on the Duke 100m charts following a runner-up finish and personal best of 11.44 seconds. On the men's side, it was Clayton who notched his second top-five placement of the afternoon and slotted himself No. 3 all-time in program lore via a season best of 10.41 seconds.
- Freshman Braelyn Baker and Taylor each turned in personal bests in their respective 200-meter races, with Baker logging a second-place finish and moving into a tie for fifth all-time at Duke after clocking 23.25 seconds. Taylor earned his second podium finish of the day after crossing the finish line in 20.89 – good for No. 4 all-time at Duke.
