DURHAM – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the academic awards for the 2021-22 track and field season on Wednesday, with 29 Blue Devils earning nods to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams.
The Duke men were represented by 13 individuals – Graduate students

Luke Jackson and
Sam Rivera, sophomores

On the women's side, 16 student-athletes were tabbed to the academic team – Graduate students

Honorees were required to have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and completed at least two semesters. In addition, winners had to have either finished in the top-96 in the nation in any indoor event or competed in the NCAA East Regional or NCAA Outdoor Championships.
Additionally, both the Duke men's and women's teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status after totaling cumulative GPAs of 3.474 and 3.663, respectively. All-Academic Team recognition requires a program to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
