Moore, the first transfer into Coach Ogilvie’s program at Duke, provided the extra depth needed to push the cross country team to the next level in 2002.It was Moore’s running in the top five every time out that propelled Duke into the top half of the nation’s top 25. His top performances included a 31:22 10,000 at the Southeast Regional, earning him 24th place and All-Region honors and a 31:07 10K at NCAA Championships, leading to Duke’s 14th place team finish. Back for his senior year in cross country, Moore has been elected team captain by his teammates. Indoors Moore qualified for IC4A’s with his 5,000-meter time of 14:44.82, which placed him eighth at the ACC Indoor Championships.Outdoors Moore also bettered the IC4A standard with a personal best of 14:32.60 in the Duke Invite 5,000.
