- Duke enters the conference meet boasting four top-15 national marks and 53 total marks that rank among the top 20 in the ACC.
- Graduate student Erin Marsh and senior Isabel Wakefield hold indoor pentathlon marks that rank in the top-10 in the NCAA this season.
- The duo is currently slotted at fifth and sixth in the event with point totals of 4,172 and 4,159, respectively, contributing to the Blue Devils boasting the top-ranked pentathlon event squad in the country. Their marks also rank second and third in the conference.
- The women's 4x400m relay unit of junior Jenna Crean, freshmen Abby Geiser and Megan McGinnis and graduate student Lauren Hoffman ran a 3:34.03 at the Tyson Invitational, which ranks first in the ACC and 11th nationally.
- The quartet also owns top-10 league marks in the 400m – Hoffman is second (54.14 seconds), McGinnis (54.76 seconds) and Geiser (54.90 seconds) are in sixth and seventh, with Crean in 10th (55.32 seconds).
- Duke also amassed over 30 top-five program marks during the indoor regular season which featured a trio of school records broken by graduate students Nick Dahl (two) and Donovan Spearman in their first seasons as Blue Devils.
- Dahl owns the school record in the men's mile (3:55.89) and 3,000m run (7:59.84). His time in the 3,000m event was the first sub-eight-minute time in program history, while his program-record mile time stands 13th in the country.
- Spearman returns to the track for the first time since Jan. 14 for the men's 60m dash. He shattered the 30-year old record in the 60m dash after clocking 6.71 seconds at the Virginia Tech Invitational.
- Graduate students Erick Duffy and Michael Fairbanks and Wakefield also hold the conference's top slot for their respective events.
- Duffy and Fairbanks both registered heights of 5.32m (17-5.50 feet) at the Virginia Tech Challenge last weekend, which moved the classmates into a tie for second place on the Duke all-time list.
- Wakefield clocked the ACC's fasted 60m hurdle time on the women's side this season as the senior ran an event-best 8.15 seconds at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational to improve her No. 2 all-time spot on the program list.
- Marsh will compete in a trio of events, including the 60m hurdles and women's high jump. Her mark of 8.30 seconds ranks second in the conference.
- At the 2021 conference meet, Marsh claimed silver in both events, recording PR marks of 1.79m (5-10.5 feet) and 8.06 seconds – the latter improving her school record time.
- Sophomore Gage Knight is slated to take part in the men's heptathlon, where he currently holds the conference's No. 3 event mark and fifth all-time program mark of 5,431 points.
- Junior Beau Allen gears up for Friday's men's long jump. Allen's mark of 2.16m (7-1 feet) ranks third in both the conference and program lore.
